As we look to the future, we’re excited about plans to expand into group camp areas, adding even more amenities to elevate your experience.

Camping at Fraker’s Grove follows the seasonal rhythms of Illinois, available from April 1st to October 14th each year. This schedule takes advantage of the best weather conditions, allowing you to fully enjoy the natural beauty surrounding us. Please note, our camping facilities close from October 15th to March 31st, reopening each spring ready to welcome you back.

If you are given the option to stay at the pond go for it! I am traveling in a self contained converted van. The sounds of the birds, water bugs, frogs created a beautiful cacophony. Dennis had firewood so a fire at dusk till darkened night lent another layer to my experience. No one else around just lotsa nature on a pond rimmed with trees and tall grasses in the middle of acres planted in soybean and corn. Dennis was very accommodating. Loved my overnight experience at Frakers Grove On the pond.

This place is amazing!!! Dennis is a great host and one of the nicest people you'll meet. Our site by the pond is fantastic. Listening to the birds and frogs as you sit by the fire is perfect. The stars at night are pretty special also. I highly recommend a trip to the farm. I can't say enough about this place. Perfect is a good start.

I loved the pond side site. It was as described and so private and beautiful. It was exactly what we needed it to be.

I loved my night camping on Dennis's land. When I arrived, he led me back to the campsite which was located next to the pond. It was completely private and surrounded by fields. He told me a bit of the interesting history of the land as well. Once the sun went down I was surrounded by lightening bugs and fell asleep to the sounds of all the little creatures living on the pond. I highly recommend this camp spot if you are truly looking to relax in solitude and enjoy nature.

Walk-in Access: Our campsites are a serene 5-10 minute walk from the parking areas. If needed, our team is happy to help transport your gear using our Side by Side vehicle.
Pets Welcome: Bring your furry friends along! Pets must remain on a leash at all times to ensure the safety of our free-range chickens and harmonious coexistence.
Porta Potty Facilities: We prioritize your comfort with a well-maintained porta potty located conveniently on-site.
Potable Water: Stay hydrated easily with our accessible potable water spigots/hydrants located near the buildings.
Trails to Explore: Lace up your boots and discover Fraker’s Grove through our property trails. Enjoy the natural beauty and tranquility as you wander.
Discounts for Weeknight Stays: Enjoy a 10% discount on weeknight camping from Sunday to Thursday (excluding holidays). Book through our online platforms, and the discount will be automatically applied.
